Hi, I am Devin, a Product Manager who is motivated by solving problems using data and designing solutions with people in mind.

ABOUT ME

I am motivated by solving problems using data and designing solutions with people in mind. I have a unique perspective on product building as a University of Washington graduate with a BS in psychology. Through my course work in human cognition, I am able to understand the underlying fundamental processes that control our behaviors. Paired with my information technology and data science minors I am skilled at predicting and analyzing human behavior as they interact with technology and information.

I am a builder, building customer-centered products as a Technical Product Manager. I have honed my ability to take a consumer-first approach, ensuring that product development aligns closely with user needs and preferences through partner data. I work cross-functionally with departments across the company to successfully release products.

I am a dedicated and passionate designer with practical product-building experience. I worked on the product team at ICX Media as a UX designer.  ICX is an audience analytics software company that video publishers and brands use to make more impactful, targeted, and relevant content.

I am a curious and adaptive researcher with professional analytics experience. I have worked at PSB insights for the past year as a market research intern while continuing my education full time. During my time I designed qualitative and quantitative research, analyzed complex data for brand trackers, and concept testing for Microsoft, Facebook, and Amazon. I enjoy the process of making stories out of data and being able to bring consumer insights to product and marketing teams.

I am a well-rounded student, with a blend of technical, psychology, and design skills.  This includes programming in JavaScript, R, and Java, classes about humans and the way they think like neuropsychology and anthropology, and classes about how humans interact with technology through digital art/design and information foundation courses.

I’m a great teammate, collaborator, and force-multiplier.  I’m was active in a variety of groups at the University of Washington that align with my passions and interests.

Women in STEM:  It is important for me to help advocate and build a community for women in the stem field.  As the Alumni and Networking Committee Head for the engineering sorority Phi Sigma Rho, I work to bring career opportunities and provide tools for professional growth within the sorority.

Accessibility: For several years, I have been dedicated to extending opportunities to those with disabilities. I am currently the VP of Outreach my college chapter of Special Olympics. I have created programs to build confidence in the members’ abilities, through teaching teamwork, building sports skills, and developing social networks.

Using information and solving problems in an impactful, human-centered way is what I want to do for my career.
